Art Direction, Packaging, and Motion Graphics for the three sticker sheet collaborations between Los Angeles-based artist, Oliver Payne and New York-based sticker company, Apply.

Oliver Payne (born 1977 in London) is a visual artist and filmmaker currently living and working in Los Angeles, CA. He is professionally represented within North America, Europe, and Asia, and has shown his work across the United States, England, and Japan. Apply is a sticker company based in New York City that values the vast history and culture surrounding stickers, and takes pride in elevating them to be a medium within artistic practice.

Together with Oliver Payne and the Apply team, I helped establish and design three 7” x 7” limited edition sticker sheets entitled Together, Lifeline, and Caribiner Crush. As an avid sticker-slapper and collector, Payne’s artwork has frequently, and proudly, included stickers as a material. This can be seen clearly throughout the lifespan of his ongoing Candy Crush series. Every detail of the collaboration was selected from his portfolio or designed specifically for this project. It's an extension of his personal practice and interests in rock climbing, streetwear, video games, and punk music. It is his art. The project is unified by the core value of cultivating positive energy. The final products aspire to do just that and bring more of it directly to you.
