Studio MRM is Los Angeles-based recording facility specializing in high-end audio production, recording, mixing, and mastering for solo artists and bands. They offer top-of-the-line equipment in a relaxed and highly creative environment equipped with a selection of the best contemporary analog hardware, software, and instruments. Studio MRM is dedicated to capturing, recording, and mixing authentic musical performances that express their clients’ creativity, vision, and sound. Producer, Engineer, and Mixer, Annie Miles, is Grammy-listed for her mixing and mastering of the B.O.S.S single, Major Love.

Studio MRM was seeking to update their logo to better communicate their modern approach to the services they offer through the use of state-of-the-art equipment and compassionate professionalism. It was requested that the new logo strictly be an update to what was originally in use. Specific elements such as color, form, and copy needed to remain the same in order to avoid a full departure from the brand they had already established. Through the use of updated typography (Gala Bold for display purposes and Paralucent Text for copy), fine-tuned color, and the balancing of visual elements, the new logo provides a flexible and scalable modernized update to Studio MRM’s identity. This allows them to remain familiar, recognizable, and approachable to clients while re-energizing them through the use of a qualified and contemporary cadence.
